Deeva Soneji
I grew up watching my grandparents practise yoga every day. What began as something I simply observed in childhood has become a daily part of my own life. Over the years, yoga has grown from a physical practice into something that has shaped every aspect of my life. Inspired deeply by my own teachers and the roots of yoga, I believe the practice has the ability to meet us exactly where we are and teach us something about ourselves along the way.
I teach Hatha, Vinyasa and Gentle Yoga, with a particular love for strong, mindful movement. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable challenging themselves, trying something new and, most importantly, experiencing joy in their practice!
Alongside the physical practice, I love weaving elements of yoga philosophy into my classes, inviting students to take away something beyond the mat — whether that is a new perspective, a moment of curiosity or simply something to reflect on.
Yoga and the teachers who have guided me have profoundly changed my life, and I hope to share a little of that experience with others.
