Jess Bateson
Jess started practising yoga around 2020 in her local gym. What initially started as just another exercise class became a passion when she realised how much it helped her sleep, and calm down her mind.
Jess teaches a range of yoga classes, from slower, gentle flows to stronger, powerful vinyasa practices and yin. Plenty of focus is placed on connecting to the breath, and simply finding the joy in movement.
Jess firmly believes yoga is for everybody, and suggests progressions and props to encourage students to make the practice their own. She teaches classes in a range of community settings in the borough and works part-time as a Commercial Director.
Jess is a Battersea local, and when off the mat you might find her strolling by the river or enjoying a pint in the square.
Jess completed her 200H training with The House of Yoga, 85H pre and post natal training with Spanda Institute, and 50H Yin Yoga training with Wild Warrior Yoga.
