Nina Auras

I'm a Brazilian writer and translator who spent 9 years as a university-level teacher and researcher in philosophy before I found my way to yoga. Because of that, my approach is quite symbolic. I like to think of asana sequencing as an expression of certain aspects of consciousness, which is enriched by the use of mantras and mudras. I always try to bring historical context and mythological references, and I'm particularly interested in the relationship between unity and multiplicity and in non-dual philosophies, such as Shaiva-Shakta tantra.

I finished my 300h YTT in 2025, specialising in Vinyasa. I see myself as a teacher-student, and I want to create an atmosphere of mutual learning and appreciation in our practices.
